Ocean County, December 16, 2002 Kerry L. Baker, President of BACORP Building Group, Inc., a Forked River based builder and developer, recently became one of the more than 300 professional builders nationwide to attain a Graduate Master Builder designation identifying her as one of the building industry’s top professionals.

She is one of the only five women in the country which hold the designation Of Graduate Master Builder.

Administered by the National Association of Home Builders, representing more than 205,000 members nationwide, the GMB program is also sponsored locally by the Shore Builders Association of New Jersey.

To qualify for the GMB certification program, a builder must have attained the Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) or Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) designation; or completed three courses and have at least 10 years of building business experience.

GMB graduates complete an intensive series of five, 6 hour courses on business management techniques, and the newest trends and technology in the building industry.

Ms. Baker’s attendance at these courses in 5 different States, provided her with a more diversified perspective of new technologies, materials, marketing and customer relations.
